THE GREAT WAR ROADSHOW

THE GREAT WAR ROADSHOW

I will be delivering a paper at the upcoming  Great War Roadshow,  which is coming to South Dublin in September with the Day Long Conference  being held in the County Library Tallaght. The Great War Roadshow is currently on tour around the country and is being brought to South Dublin by South Dublin County Council Heritage Office and the Red Line Book Festival in conjunction with www.talentbase.ie. On the bill for Saturday the 13th of September are Myles Dungan, John O’ Keefe, Ciaran Wallace, Turtle Bunbury and myself Michael J. Whelan

Myles Dungan will also present an evening of  songs and stories  in the Civic Theatre Tallaght on Friday 17th October at 8pm, performed by The Brook Singers, Brendan MacQuaile, Sadbh Burt Fitzgerald, Jonathan Creasy and Pianist Ronan Murray.

The day long conference is free of charge but booking is essential.  I’m looking forward to it and hopefully I might meet some of you there if you can make it along, it promises to be a great event.

The Evening of songs and stories has an admission of €12/€10

Please check out the poster, the Red Line Book Festival or TalentBase for details on both events.
